Are you a union shop?

Not at this time. TRM has elected to be a non union shop and cross train all of our technicians in both fire alarm and detection and sprinkler and suppression technologies. We believe this produces the most well rounded technician capable of providing our clients with the highest level of productivity.

Should you need a union shop to perform work on your site, TRM is willing to assist you in the selection and management of a union shop to meet your needs.

How can TRM support our fluctuating needs for fire protection support?

For new clients not wishing to establish a fixed maintenance contract, TRM will establish a rate sheet to allow service calls to be billed on a time and material basis. It is interesting to note that most clients electing to business this way would be better served in the long run to establish a maintenance contract. A sound maintenance program not only fixes the annual cost of maintaining these systems, it reduces the average annual cost year after year.

What is the minimum duration of your test, inspect and maintain contract?

We have no minimum contract length. Some clients need us just once. During that visit we not only perform the necessary inspection, testing and maintenance, but upon your request, will train your people to perform these activities on their own in the future.

What manufacturers do you represent?

None today, none tomorrow. Our first and only loyalty is to you, the client. No minimum sales quotes, no monthly incentive specials. Our recommendations from testing and inspection are made with your best interests in mind. We recommend only what we feel you need to maintain your protection and assets and personnel. Our recommendations are generic and can be filled with several manufacturers’ products. When we do recommend a specific product you will be told why and what other alternatives are available should you not wish to follow our recommendation.

You’re in Colorado, I’m in Texas. How can this be competitive?

TRM is growing fast throughout the United States. We simply cannot afford to be everywhere all at once. You will find that when negotiating a contract with us for maintenance, your rates will be based on mobilization out of the closest major metropolitan center in your area. We make the investment first, not you. Once your contract is established it will be serviced by one of our US teams. As our market penetration in your area grows, we will establish a team in your area. They will be trained by the team that has serviced your account since inception, minimizing the impact to your operations.
